Questions inspectors actually ask
Does PiWalk produce the real Florida insurance forms?
Yes. Your answers are rendered onto the actual documents — the wind mitigation form OIR-B1-1802 Rev. 04/26, mandatory for inspections performed on or after 1 April 2026, and the Citizens four-point form. Roof certification is included too.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Findings and photos are stored on the phone and queued. When the signal returns they sync on their own, and a pending panel shows exactly what is still waiting. Crawlspaces and rural properties do not stop the inspection.
Is it priced per inspector?
No. It is $79 per month for the company, or $790 per year. Add as many inspectors and office staff as you need and the price does not move.
Can agents and lenders see the report?
When you attach them. The office adds a buyer, agent, lender or anyone else by email, and they get a free account showing only the inspections they were attached to. They can ask a question pinned to a specific finding or photo, and you answer from the app. An agent who works with five inspection companies sees one list — and those companies never see each other’s work.
Can I bill a bank or brokerage on terms?
Yes. Save the client with Net 15, 30, 45 or 60 terms and the report is released when the invoice is emailed rather than when it is paid, with the due date tracked. Clients paying by card or COD still pay before the report goes out.
Who holds the money?
You do. Inspection payments go to your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. PiWalk never sits in the middle of your client’s payment.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. The 30-day trial does not ask for one. You can run full inspections during the trial; reports carry a sample watermark and cannot be printed, downloaded, emailed or shared with agents until the inspection is covered by a token or a subscription.
